LESLIE us
Leslie is a community builder and business development/ outreach specialist, who has been based in Singapore since 2014. She has an extensive and diverse network within Singapore’s tech eco-system, as well as across other sectors, including legal, marketing and finance. In addition to her work with CWS, Leslie is the Co-lead of Tech Singapore Advocates, the Singapore branch of the Global Tech Advocates network. In that role, she oversees an extensive community of members and partners, as well as running events, initiatives and programmes to support the growth of Singapore's tech ecosystem. She also acts as GTA's APAC Lead, working with partners throughout the region to drive collaboration and innovation. She is also a regular moderator and speaker at events throughout the region and internationally. Leslie is a New York qualified attorney, having practiced for many years in London before relocating to Asia.
Nicky
In addition to CWS, Nicky is the founder of technology solutions company Computer Wholesale, Singapore. She has advised some of the world’s largest technology companies, guiding them on their policy, regulatory and engagement initiatives across Asia. Nicky also advises founders from APAC on their UK market entry strategies on behalf of the Global Entrepreneur Programme. Nicky is an active leader in the Tech Singapore Advocates community, which aims to connect and support leaders in the tech ecosystem globally. Her significant network extends across business, professional partners, industry groups, accelerators, investors, and regulators. Though entrenched in the technology space these days, Nicky's background is in infrastructure, having managed numerous transport and planning projects, including Battersea Power Station and Crossrail. She is passionate for all things STEAM and contributes as an ambassador in an educational and mentoring capacity.
